GOAL 5: To provide simplified integration with a Vendor’s in-house systems by providing computer to computer interfaces
As enrollment is but one of a vendor’s system processes, we recognized the need early on to provide industry standard interfaces to Enroll-Link. As a result, Enroll-Link currently supports two different types of interfaces.
The first type is targeted toward the enrollment specialist or enrollment manager. Using the Enroll-Link Download function, they can easily download a file of account level information that can be imported and manipulated with a spreadsheet program.
The second type is targeted towards a vendor’s IT department. Enroll-Link has created industry standard Web Services that permit access and download of all account information. The data is transported securely using SSL and is formatted into standard XML. An IT department should readily be able to interface with the Enroll-Link Web Services and load the received data into their in-house systems.
Most Client Tracking/CRM systems, spreadsheets, and PC databases have an export function similar to the first type described above -- a simple download (or export) function that creates a spread-sheet compatible file. Unlike Enroll-Link, however, very few Client Tracking/CRM systems currently support Web Services and XML data communications.
